Feeling Helped
How substackers are keeping me going.
Recently Loralee Clark helped me with Tying Up Loose Ends
She asked how the creativity of others is fueling me.
I instantly thought of Carrie Loranger and her willingness to be genuinely helpful without expecting anything in return.
Gary Vee fueled my creativityby reminding me that my success will never be ruined by helping another.
I was led to a phenomenal piece by The Highly Sensitive woman on burnout.
And I’m not going to drivel on about these wonderful people and their work, hope you’ll check them out.
Mindful Moment from my Desk.
I’m listening to Jajnoun my medhi Khosravi
Headphones, tall yellow native grass blowing outside the window and the work of others this week on substack has reminded me to balance however my river flows. I’m standing on grass in the morning, watching stars at night, having friends over, sipping tea with a good book, working forty hours a week, playing games with my kids, writing when work has down hours. Life is good. Thank you for your contribution to our shared space. May you shower yourself in what fuels your creative joy.
